video quality issue and internet connection.

i bought a new toshiba laptop.model name is satellite pro.I've installed windows 7 replacing ubuntu.i haven't installed any drivers. 'cause audio is working fine.Now i am mainly facing two problems.

1. I can't connect to the internet using my modem.
2.My 1080p video are not playing with that clarity.There is something wrong with the picture quality.

please help me.

If you haven't installed any drivers, then the laptop has no way to know how to connect internet or show a video in good quality. It's all default drivers, enough to get you going until you guessed it, install the proper drivers.

But they are already installed except for ethernet drivers when i installed windows 7 in it. I checked that in device manager.

You should still install the proper video drivers. Just because basic drivers are installed, that's only enough to get you video.

Eithernet is for internet, so if you can't connect to the internet, well.....

Did you meant display drivers as video drivers. 'cause i went to the toshiba's official website and checked for video drivers.but can't find one.But i got a display driver
