Visio 50" 4K issue

I bought a new Visio 4K from Walmart...but when i turn to a 4K channel on my Directv,it says my tv doesn't do 4k...i have been ALL thru the guides and have the 4K modes checked...but no 4K...and thats why i bought this was for a 4K picture

What connection type are you using? Did you check if there was specific ports that are 4k on the set only? Make sure your box can do 4k?

MY TV IS 4K...MY DIRECTV BOX DOES 4K...I HAVE NOT NOTICED A SPECIAL PLUG IN ON MY TV FOR 4K..BUT WILL RECHECK...
