Vista 32 to 64... possible?

So I know this is possible to accomplish but... I want to know if it's worth it and will it be able to run to it's fullest if I switch it to 64 (no lags and so on...),

My computer:
processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.30GHz
RAM: 3 GB
System : 32bit (ofc..)
Windows Vista Home Premium
Service Pack 2

I got a better fan (not sure which) if that helps... I got a better graphic card installed too but I'm not sure what it is ..

only if you upgrade to more than 4 GB of RAM, and it will be a fresh install, not an upgrade, so you will have to find all the drivers for your system too.

my computer can only handle 3.5gb ram i think... will it read +4gb once i get 64bit?

and do i have to change the motherboard?

oh so can I keep it? cause 32bit vista only can hold 2.5 GB and rest wont work if higher...

the 32bit can use up to around 4GB, it is less because you probably using the iGPU which use some of the system RAM
