VIZIO M701D-A3 Panel

M701D is maybe a year and 1/2 old. Symptoms, During power on V comes on for about 4 secs, a very faint display then fades away and Power light low left fades out. After replacing Power Supply and Main Board with Brand new boards same issue. It's a Huge Laptop, without a Keyboard & Hard drive, the display acts just like a Laptop with a failing LCD.
Lets see Dr Watson 3 Components, replaced power and main board could only be Panel.

You might get lucky and be able to save the panel IF it has failed like a Eseries. On the e70 vizios, if a side tab cable has a problem, it can take out the tcon board. People on badcaps.net forum for DIYer's have found that you can remove the tabs from one side of the panel (failing side) and the replace the tcon board (or fix it) and the set comes back to life. If you have any "desire" and luck, you might want to give that a try.
