Get Bluetooth headphone and pair them with the tv is the simplist way.

I use Sennheiser RS120 Wireless headphones plugged into the RCA Audio Out ports on my 55" series P. Sound quality is excellent. And the Dolby D+ does a remarkably good job simulating 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound.
