VX3100 Red lamp stays on

My son and I both have Verizon VX3100's. For the last 2 days the red
lamp (on the hinge) has stayed lit on his phone. He has no messages of
any type, we've charged the phone, and pulled and replaced the
battery. The Verizon tech had no idea why the light would stay on.
Any ideas?

Try emailing LG tech support- it's their phone. If they don't have a
satisfactory explanation, I'd ask VZW to swap it out for you (assuming it's
still under warranty).
