i would like to buy the sony digital camera but i have confusion between two models....DSC- TX9 and DSC hx9V please suggest me which will be better one in price and functionality over view

Both are impressive i need experts comment about to buy this ...

I am nor sure which country you live.

I check the price (USA) for TX9 (Ultracompact)$270, Hx9v (Compact)$349.

And hx9v has better functions than tx9, such as max resolution hx9v 4608 x 3456, pixels 16.2 megapixels, digital zoom 10X, focal length 24 – 384 mm, ISO 100-3200, that mean you can take better picture if you want. One thing is TX9 has touchscreen LCD, but hx9v don't.

If you want take the vacation pictures, both of them will do the good job. And I will get the tx9.

If you want to take some picture like sunset and the sport event, I will take the hx9v (focal length 24 – 384 mm), because you will get the bigger sun picture. even hx9v is $70 over tx9.

Besides the Better zoom...there is Geotagging facility is available in HX-9V

Let me know, if i shoot a photograph with this camera with geotagging ON mode. then can i upload it to my google map directly to the particular coordinates on the map?
