Rule of Thumb - Take your original cost and then subtract 10% that day you open the box .... then 5% of original cost for each month of age for 6 months (60% value at this point) ... then 10% for every 6 months thereafter.

So if it came out for $1200 say 2 years ago.....

Value at 1 month (85%) = $1020
Value at 6 months (60%) = $720
Value at 12 months (50%) = $600
Value at 24 months (30%) = $360
