Watching Netflix without an HDMI

[Help Please]

Hello,
Is it possible to connect a laptop that does not have a HDMI port/opening to a large screen tv that does have an HDMI cable? All I want to do is watch my Netflix on the big screen.

What ports do you have on your laptop and what kind of ports are available on your TV?

A lot of newer LCD TV's have the good old 15-pin VGA. Does yours?

In short, yes it's possible but we need more info.
