im a recording artist and i just record at home, my mic was working fine but recently for no reason at all my mic is recording is static and distorted noise, it will record me but im inaudible beneath it. before the recording bar would fill up fully and record whatever i wanted, now i press record and only half of the bar (the top half) fills up with white and thats all the distortion and static. Is my mic dead? or my interface maybe?
