Question Weird noise and smoke coming out of the charging port

Hiii, I have a acer aspire 7 and its 1 year old. When i turned it on before a week, there was weird noise coming from the right side and yesterday, there was smoke coming out of the charging port plus the weird sound, so i turned it off and didn't use it after that. What should i do now? and why is happening?

If it is still under warranty,, send it back for repair. Otherwise take it to a repair shop. I don't think there is anything you can do yourself.

Sure. Have some ideas. Could be the battery overheating (very dangerous and not likely). Could be a fan motor but that would create little smoke. Could be power supply components that handle large amounts of power. I would not recommend you try messing with it.

I won't mess with it but i think it might be the fan motor because the sound is coming near that and there's not much smoke coming
