What 3.55mm Jack

So, I bought a bluetooth usb jack thing for my Sony bass boosted headphones, And I was wondering if I should take them back and get something like a 3.55mm bluetooth instead of usb. And i'm wondering if that will help with sound and since it would let me hook it up to my receiver, To get better sound.. I don't know someone please help me!

Can you please give more information? "I bought a thing" doesn't tell me very much...

If you're talking about a USB to 3.5mm adapter, then using the onboard sound would probably be better.

Why are you attempting to use Bluetooth? Are your headphones Bluetooth? Do they not have a 3.5mm connector?

If you use the USB BT transmitter you will avoid having to take the digital audio on the PC, have it converted to analog by your PC, and then being reconverted to digital so it can be sent via bluetooth to your headphones. The USB transmitter is the way to go for best audio.
