what can i upgrade on a hp 2000 laptop

i want to make my laptop better and faster to handle games a little better and i was wondering what can you upgrade on my laptop

Laptops aren't really made to be upgradable. A Solid State Drive or upgrading the ram is about all you can do. (around $100-150 upgrade altogether)

You could upgrade the Memory/Ram to 8GB for $70-80 and get an 120GB SSD for $60-80.

What kind of games is he trying to play? If they are intensive games, it maybe be easier to just not spend $150 now and save up for at least for $500 to build a real gaming PC.
