What did The At&T salesman install on my phone?

Today I picked up the 8+ and after we finished up everything. he took my phone to the front desk and plugged it in and installed some "diagnostic tool" as he called it. he said lt only works when plugged into their system.and is hidden so we dont accidentally delete it. but i don't like the idea of such an app being on my phone. does anyone know what this "diagnostic tool" is called so i can look it up and see what it is exactly. I believe it started with a "B'. another question is, would a factory reset wipe it out? or being its installed by att would it stay installed like other bloatware?

If you are concerned, contact the store manager and have a conversation with them. He may be doing something that isnt authorized.

Or take it back and demand a new one. They shouldn't install something without asking first.
