What happened?? regsvr32 urlmon.dll

I was unable to download any files from the internet. I ran regsvr32 urlmon.dll and it was somewhat successful. I was able to download the files but only the PDFs will open. ( Microsoft Word will not.) I am using Google Chrome.

Have you run your anti-virus software to make sure that you don't have a virus or any type o malware ?
