What home theater should I get ?

I got around 270$ to spend on a home theater.
what should i get, I'm looking for a clean sound, good bass and 5.1.

$270 what? AUS, US, CAN? what stores do you have avaliable to buy from?
I got a great deal on a pioneer 5.1 amp + speaker pack for $200 aus, Onkyo and Yamaha have similar packs. However the speakers that come with them are crap, particularly for music.
