Solved! What is a security key

hi im trying to connect my laptop to a wireless connection and it say what is the security key??? where is that,how can i find it

The security key is to prevent unwanted users from accessing someone's wireless internet. If it's your wifi, then you should have written the information down as the key would have been given to you when the network was set up. If it is someone else's wifi, then you need to ask them if you have their permission to use it and then get the key from them. They are the ones paying for it after all.
