For your files? Connect to the same router. Share out a folder. COpy what is needed.

Applications? Fresh install on the new device.

If you have windows 7 or later on both, you can use "Windows Easy Transfer" and put everything on an external hard drive. Just type in Windows easy transfer in the search bar.
