What is the best way to stream your laptop to a Roku wireless?

I am trying to stream video from websites from my laptop to my Roku then to my TV wireless through my WiFi connection. PLEX wont work for what I am trying to stream.

Why go through the Roku? Lots of ways to go direct to your TV. Chromecast, Miracast, etc. You should be able to find reviews on this site.
