What is the difference between the MSI Apache-629 and the MSI Apache-003?

Just to confirm we are considering the same models here, these two?

If so, then the 629 features a slightly faster processor but a weaker graphics card (GTX 850M vs GTX 860M) so, in most gaming situations, the laptop with the better graphics card would be the preferred choice since the 100MHz difference between the two processors is near non-existent.
One thing I found is that there are two iterations of the GTX 860M, one a Kepler based, the other (newer) Maxwell based found here http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-860M.107794.0.html with very slight performance differences

I do agree with the post above.
The MSI Apache-629 has an inferior graphics card (Nvidia GT 850m) compared to the MSI Apache-003 (Nvidia GT 860m).
So, since you are probably into gaming, the 003 is just a better machine to game on !!!

I realize it's the graphics card. They both had the 850m on this site but one had GDDR5 which probably makes the GPU more expensive. I really like the MSI GE60 though. Prob getting one soon 😀
