Can anyone please tell me what frequency range does the Bluetooth transmitter operate upon in Brookstone Big Blu Party speaker? Thanks.

Bluetooth radio frequency is "standard" 2.4GHz band.
What you can get as sound - it should be on the spec, and if it is not, make your own decisions (similar if a car manufacturer does not publish top speed).
Don't expect miracles, though. Brookstone is "me too" company in that business.
