What is the future of a utility app that has integrated game elements?

Hi, I just got an idea to share with you guys. I plan to develop an app to fix phone overheat issue, but different from other existed similar apps, I want to add some game elements into this app. For instance, I plan to embed a cute ices-pop elf into this app. And the elf will melt if the phone temperature is high. I want to remind and encourage users to care about the battery health in such a way. Will this app be loved by phone users?

And what if I position this app as a unique task killer app which solves phone overheat issue by killing tasks.

The only way this app of yours will solve any overheat issues is if it kills itself; which kind of defeats the purpose. You're talking about an app that constantly polls the thermal sensor and which activates a task killing application when the thermal threshold is broken. The problem is, it's your app that causes the thermal threshold to be broken because it's using so much processor power while continuously polling the thermal sensor.

thanks, this is really an essential point that I need to consider. And right now, I can only largely reduce the battery consumption that my app will use. And what if I position this app as a unique task killer app which solves phone overheat issue by killing tasks. But different from others, I will make the task killing process become more interesting. Will you use it? Or at least try it for once?
