What is up with youtube?

Recently youtube have changed the layout of their GUI, which I have no problems with, but with this update they have some how broken the mechanic that allows them to render videos. I try to watch a video on the old layout, it all works fine. New layout, can't even render past 5 seconds. Can someone please tell me why this is happening or maybe how to fix this?
