What optical disc drive is compatible with the Acer espire e5 -475?

Recently brought the Acer espire e5-475 laptop thinking it had an optical disc drive which i could burn cd and play dvds but found out it was a dummy drive.

Any compatible optical disc drives i could install for cheap into the laptop.

Note: I don't want external usb powered optical disc drives.

Every picture I can find of an e5-475 shows one on the right side, does yours not have one in there, if so what is there?

Doesn't list his laptop to know it is compatible.

some laptops are 12mm and others are 9.5mm for dvd drive.
Either way need to find one that has right height, right location of screw mount hole, plus OP will likely need the DVD cover and cable to connect it.
This is assuming there is even a micro-sata port in the laptop in the first place.

So from what I see it is a 9.5mm and slimline sata connector, still no idea where it needs the mount hole to be.

Best option would be to call acer to at least get part numbers if nothing else, at that point we should be able to find the part or equivalent if acer is too overpriced or cant supply the part.

Can you remove the cover to at least make sure it has the sata port on the board?

I was seeing on some post online that they had to not only get a drive but order a cable to go from the board to the drive port (which means taking apart the laptop)
