What should I upgrade first, my lens or my camera?

Hi. I am about to upgrade from my Canon 1000D and some cheap lenses. I only have enough money to buy either a 'good/better' lens than I have or by a new better camera than I have. What should I invest in first, the better lens or the better camera??? Please reply!!

I personally would purchase good glass before a new body.

That is a solid body, and 10.1MP is plenty for pretty much anything, and a new higher quality lense will actually make a good difference.
