What SSD drive can I use in a ASUS G752VL

I recently purchased an ASUS G752VL at a super low price, knowing that I would need to install an SSD card, as the 5400 RPM is simply abysmal. I bought a Samsung 850 EVO 250gb, popped it in and am not getting the laptop to recognize it. I have locked the topic up and there is a lot of debate with this series of laptop as to which SSD drives will and will not work. The more I look the more and more confused I get. Any tips on how to get this drive to work or if not a drive that will work with this particular laptop.

Anytime you add a new drive you need to use Disk Management to initialize and format it so that Windows will recognize it. Do a search for that program in Windows.
