I have a samsung galaxy s4.
When I call someone, he cannot listen my voice and I have to on the loudspeaker and then my voice can be listened by the other person. I can hear the other person both in loudspeaker mode and the other mode but the problem is that the other person cannot listen me until I activate the loudspeaker mode.

Test by calling yourself to your home phone or other friends and see if they have the same problem.
If not, then it's that person's phone that has the problem.
