I am trying to set up more the one device to my speakers system but every time i do you and hear a very noticeable sound change

Solution
If you are connecting two sources to one input you don't want to use a splitter. This connects the two sources to each other and the speaker. You want an input selector switch so that only one source is connected to the speaker at the same time. That isolates the sources from each other.
You can make one

or buy one.

Some have RCA connectors rather than mini plugs. If the switcher also does video that is fine. Just don't use the yellow RCA jacks.

Apart from fact one set of inputs are 5.1 and the other are just stereo? Does it happen on both input channels or just one?

I have Z906, the back is fairly similar but I have 2 Digital inputs as well and a control panel to switch between speakers and inputs

It happen on both channels and it is quite a significant change in the sound I tired a splitter and that made it so only one channel had the sound change

with the spliter it only happens on the 3.5mm plug-in, my T.V doesn't get effect with the splitter on but if i don't use the splitter both channels will be muffled
