When I turn on my laptop the screen is black most of the times

When I turn on my laptop the screen is black for most of the times . but sometimes its getting turned on normally . i am not able to understand the exact problem . after going to some similar posts on this site i have tried the way of removing the battery and pressing the power button for 2 min and turning it on back but this could solve my problem only for the first time but not always . right now , my laptop is blank . i am pretty sure that the screen is not broken. please suggest me what to do?

Can you please confirm if the screen stays black right after you turn the laptop on, or the vendor's logo is displayed and the screen goes black before the Windows logo appear?

In case you are able to see the vendor's logo, the issue might be with the operating system itself. Check if you can boot Windows in Safe Mode (by pressing the F8 key repeatedly after the system startup), and if the Windows boots in the Safe Mode, you can follow these steps to restore Windows to an earlier restore point to resolve the issue with least overhead.
