Where has my phone been ?

I had my phone and bag stolen yesterday. Using 'Find my Device' I was able to track my phone and now have it back but the person who had it says he found it on the street. Is there any way to track my LOCATION HISTORY to see if he is telling me the truth ?

Location history was turned OFF unfortunately but is there another way ?

If the tracking was turned off then the only other thing I can think of is to contact your carrier/service provider and they can look at what towers it used while it was not in your possession.
