Which gaming laptop should I get

The main differences are that one is a 256 SSD and the other is a 5200 rpm 1TB drive, the GPU is 4gb vs 2 gb, and the i5-6300HQ vs the i7-4720HQ.

The Dell. Besides the differences you mentioned, it also has a an IPS panel and is probably better quality.

The i7-4720HQ and i5-6300hq have nearly the same single and quad core performance. With the 4720HQ leading in all out multicore performance. If you plan on any photo/video editing I would recommend the Acer, otherwise gaming performance should be pretty on par with each other, as well as quality leaning toward the dell. The Acer actually does have IPS as well, just not stated very clearly. Battery life on the Dell, obviously depending on the batteries size should be better.
