which is better, lenovo w500 or hp elite book 8440p?

Hi!
I am looking to buy used laptop and I have this down to two options:
cheaper lenovo w500 or slightly more expensive hp elitebook 8440p. I have no particular needs, just want better laptop of these two

I generally prefer the Lenovo brand over HP. I find them more durably made, and have owned one that I am quite pleased with.
