Asus A52JT-XB1 w/ Core i5-460M, 4GB, 500GB, DVD+/-RW, 15.6in HD, Radeon HD 6370, Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit at Memory Express Computers

I need the laptop for school and movie watching.

If battery life is not your highest priority, then the Asus would be the better buy. The CPU is a little faster and the HD 6370 is a little better at games than the Intel HD 3000.

HP ProBook 4530s Review

I agree with JaguarSKX the Asus laptop has a slightly better CPU and GPU.
And either laptop will do a good job with the tasks you mentioned.

I would favor the ProBook 4530s for it's lower price, style and few option it has like the 7200rpm HDD, Bluetooth 3.0 and a matte / anti-glare screen.
As a business class laptop I think it might also have an edge in durability and longevity.
