I want to purchase a laptop for engineering & for business work.
Which is best?

Perfect preparation for an engineering study: make list of all your requirements, like budget, screen size, disk size and so on and sort that by relevance. Next do a market research with your most relevant requirement (might be budget) and compare the specs to the rest on your list. You will need to do thing like that all day as an engineer.
