Hi there,

You should check out the Lenovo ThinkPad X301. It has a 14" and weighs only 3.3 lbs in addition to a reinforced top cover, which makes it extra sturdy.

Asus - b/c of their extra reinforcements and cooling... they typically aren't as light or thin as some other brands tho.
