Which MSI GS60 should i get?

So I've narrowed down my options to the MSI GS60 with the nvidea gforce 970. What version should i get though in regards to the screen: the regular, 3k, or 4k. It will be used mostly for engineering school and graphic intensive programs, but not really gaming. thanks

You should get the 1080p version if you do really graphics intensive programs but if you don't need to have the best preformance then you should get the 4k, I got the 1080p and the screen looks great in my opinion you should get the 1080p version

If you're going to be doing engineering work, shouldn't you be getting a workstation laptop? Something like a Dell Precision or Lenovo Thinkpad W541?
