So I've narrowed it down to 3 laptops. Which one would you pick? I'm leaning towards the Dell with the 1 tb hdd.

The two dell laptops are the same, expect the one from Dell comes with a 1 tb hdd and the one from Amazon comes with a 250 gb ssd

.Let me know if you guys have any other suggestions. I've been told to stick with Lenovo, MSI, or Asus but I couldn't find any offerings in the same price range with the same specs. I'm going to pull the trigger hopefully today or tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy and install a ssd than the other way around?

The SSD in the dell from amazon is in an m.2 slot, which means you can easily buy a 2.5 HDD and install it in the hard drive bay (hence you will have a laptop with a 256gb ssd + 1tb hdd).

Note that an m.2 SSD 256 gb costs ~ $85, while you can get a 1tb 2.5 hdd for less than $50.

So basically, you can install both a 1tb hdd and an SSD. only question is which one do you want first
