So I got some money for Christmas and I was looking to buy myself a laptop after a few years of not having one. My budget is at max $650, but I was hoping to find one for $400 that would suit my needs - the lightest gaming you can imagine (do not tell me about dedicated graphics or gaming laptops, thank you), light digital drawing, and schoolwork - and I did.

This seems to be a pretty good computer for what it is, and it's on sale right now. Not the newest, best, or most extreme, but better than my 11 year old HP Pavilion a450n desktop and more versatile than my iPad.

But then I found this puppy, which is pretty much the same look and similar specs, only with a 6th gen i7 rather than a 5th gen i5, better wi-fi thingy, Bluetooth (which I don't care about)...and it's almost $600.

Asus is what I want, for sure, and these two are my main choices. But which one is better for the money?

The first one is good for your needs, 6gb ram, an i5 and a 1tb drive is a good price, the other one is 200 dollars more, I'd go for the first if I were you.
