Okay so far i have narrowed my search down to two laptops. I want them to play minecraft, Age of Empires 3 and a couple of other small games. I also need to do school on it :). So which one do you think would be the quickest for gaming?

the amd has 2 piledriver modules (sharing a fp (floating point) core + 2 integer cores), it's a hardware level hyper threading if you want to call it that (4 cores 4 threads but only 2 fp units), and since amd has worse ips compared to intel the i5 ends up faster compared to the A8 amd (i5 is dual core with hyperthreading btw so 2 cores 4 threads) in cpu intensive tasks. amd wins on the graphics front though.
