Bois i need help.. I've been using desktop pc for years mainly for gaming. Now i am in college and am looking for a laptop and here i got 2 choices its either LENOVO IdeaPad 330-15IKB i3-7020U 8GB 1TB MX150 2GB FullHD or LENOVO IdeaPad 330-15IKB Intel i3-8130U 4GB 1TB AMD Radeon 535 2GB FullHD

Firtst one it seems it has better gpu but cpu is on a bad side and the other one is opposite.
I couldnt find proper bemchmark for 535 gpu so idk how it performs.

Solution

The 1st laptop with the i3-7020u and nvidua mx150 would be the better option for playing games. The mx150's performance is basically between the performance of the GTX 950m and GTX 960m GPUs. The Radeon 530 is basically about equal to a nVidia 930m overall. The Radeon 535 is simply a minor improvement to the Radeon 530.

There is a huge performance difference between the nVidia 930m and the GTX 950m. That means the Radeon 535 would need to be significantly more powerful to the Radeon 530 to even match the...

The LENOVO IdeaPad 330-15IKB i3-7020U 8GB 1TB MX150 2GB FullHD is better for games, because it has an AMD Radeon 530. The other laptop has an intel 620 integrated chip, which is fine for flash games but not actual games. So, go for the one with the i3-7020U.

Hm i dont know much about laptop gpus but r535 definitely threw me of track as it turns out its a integrated one(which is specified as not integrated one on website).

Get the one which has dual graphics (that's the one with an integrated Intel GPU plus it also has the Radeon discrete GPU).

The other one only has integrated Intel GPU (integrated on the processor) - - no good for gaming.

Check specs carefully to ensure you choose the right one, because laptops can have exact same model number but could have different GPU & CPU specs.

Ok iam confused now...

1.first laptop
Cpu I3 7020u
Gpu 150mx

2.second laptop
Cpu i3 8130u
Gpu radeon 535

Both of these seem to have discrete gpu. (my apologies for being dummy but have no experience with laptops. )

MERGED QUESTION
Question from M4rk3 : "Buying new laptop for some games need help(choosing between two)"

The second laptop will be far far far far better than the first one. The first one's integrated gpu should even be better than the radeon 535. The mx150 blows it away by a huge margin. The i3 7020u is a lot slower but it should still be able to game.

However neither of these laptops are gaming laptops at all. Does it have to be a laptop? Since you can get a much better system by going the desktop route.
