which slot is better to install SSD Hard disk in DELL 3542

hi,
i have laptop (DELL 3542 ) with 1TB HDD hard disk ,intel core i5 4210U , and 8G RAM.

my computer is very very slow ... many users say if i replaced the hard with SSD it will be faster.. so i purchased 120GB (WD Green) , and i want to install it beside the old HDD...

so, which slot is better to install SSD ? HDD Slot or DVD Slot ?

Best place to have the boot disk is on the main drive connection. You can put the old disk as a secondary using the optical bay adapter.
