I decided that after a long history with BD/BD-AV to cut the cord (more about that later). Just wanterd to let Mac Users know that in doing so, their Bit Defender Uninstaller (supplied with BitDefender installation, in/Library/ Application Support/AntiVirus) leaves lots of "cruft" on your Mac.

You should be aware of the junk left on left sprawling all over each of your Startup drives for many reasons. I have a way to remove it easily and thankfully, if you are interested. However, my recommendation is BitDefender should be made aware of it if you have problems (not that they'll do much about it).

I found remnants of the app in filesat /Library/Application Support, /Library/Preferences/BitDefender and /Library/Logs/Bit Defender and throughout MacOS System files, after the uninstaller got through uninstalling all modules and ditching the app(s) AntiVirus and VPN.

You can find and scour them clean with an app called FindAnyFile, version 2.1.1. NB, I was not paid to recommend this app.
