Question Why do my Onn TSW Earbuds keep on disconnecting and reconnecting?

My earbuds my grandfather just gave me yesterday. They were working perfectly fine with my phone, then this morning during 1st hour, I connected my earbuds to my chromebook and they disconnected then reconnected then disconnected the reconnected. I gave up on trying to make them work. Now, it's after school and I'm trying to do my homework and it's not working.
