Why does ur SD card become damaged after being placed in another phone

It shouldn't...in theory. Did you format the card before placing it in your other phone? I transferred an SD card from my old Windows Mobile phone to my Blackberry and it went off without a hitch. Try formatting in your old phone and then putting it in your new phone.

right, you had to unmount before pulling it out. you can't just turn off the phone and pull it out.
