You don't like the Versa because you had a "sudden desire" to respond to emails and texts. You then said you can get notifications and messages on the Charge 2, but you turned them off. You can turn them off on the Versa also, so your objection to the Versa makes no sense. Among things I prefer about the Versa is the steps notification. As you pointed out, on the Charge 2 you sometimes get a reminder of the number of steps you need to hit 250 for the hour, but sometimes you get a message like "Take me for a walk." On the Versa the reminder always says how many steps you need to hit 250. The Versa has much more functionality than the Charge 2, but for fitness tracking, the Charge 2 has absolutely no advantage, except price, and you didn't address that.
