Got this ASUS Zenbook UX330UAK i5-7200 8GB a week ago used to replace my dead laptop. It is s-l-o-w-e-r than my old 2 GB Pentium III desktop. Some web pages never load, I have to stop and try again, or give up. I thought at first Verizon was throttling back our data (jet pack for internet) but the old pc loads pages just fine. Any ideas what is going on?

using wifi or ethernet? it is doing windows update?
Hi MMohammed, Thank you for responding. OS is Linux Lite 5.2; ISP is Verizon MiFi JetPack/HotSpot. Updates to the Linux system only take a few minutes once a week or so. I let it compete before continuing to use the system.
