Hello, I have been looking to get a new laptop. I have my eye on this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?SID=ExsoAI3mEeOOOf70KdAAXgsl0C_Wosu3_0_0_0&AID=10440897&PID=1225267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&Item=N82E16834233013&cm_sp=

But I wonder..why is the price marked down so much? Just today it went down another 50 buks. SO, is there a reason? SOmething wrong with it perhaps? ITs nearly 50% off!

ANyhow, I am looking to get a decent light gaming laptop. so, if anyone can give me any ideas please! I just got my tax return today, And I am about to go HOG WILD!

I dont want to buy on an impulse. I dont really care about a touchscreen. I want something that will play battlefield 3, in medium settings at least, with no issues. I also play some MMO like LOTRO. and Mortal online.

SO if anyone knows of a good laptop ($800.00 US or less) that has core I5, or I7, a dedicated card ( equal or greater than a nvdiea 730M)

SHould I buy the one I have listed here? Or is there something else out there? Every time I look for something that has similiar specs, it is OVER 900!!!

PLease plaese! help me's!

Ok I dont care about the screen size. 15.6 is bigger, but I can deal with it. SO is a 730M not so great then? Is a 740 much better? I am not looking for something fantastic. This is my 1st laptop. My desktop has an Nvidea 460 GT, so I am looking for something that will perform as well, or better than that. thanks!

How about these to compare?:

Both are over $800, but then both are much better than one with 730M graphics. Screen resolution is also quite high at 1920x1080 (not 1366x768). The 2nd one is $930 but has 755M graphics.

14" laptops can't support more than a specific GPU due to space issues to exhaust heat...
That laptop isn't cheap.

$800 for a laptop with only a 730M isn't something I'd consider a great deal, unless 14" is the maximum screen size you want. Plus there's only 4 comments with two of them 1/5.

If you want a good recommendation, be a little more SPECIFIC on the screen size. Is 15.6" too big (the one listed was 14").

I don't think it's all that cheap. It has ok graphics for a multimedia laptop, a 720p-ish screen, and an i5. I'd actually pay around $600-$700 (I added $100 for the touchscreen) for something like that and no more.

14" laptops can't support more than a specific GPU due to space issues to exhaust heat. Some are better than others but often at a high price premium due to custom cooling solutions.

lol ignore that crossed out $1400. Just a marketing ploy to make you think youre getting a good deal. there is no way in hell anyone who knows anything about computers will pay $1400 for a i5 and gt 730.. for $1400 you can easily get a i7-4700MQ + gtx 770
