Hello there. I have my MSI LAPTOP with GTX 970M and I have been getting major stutters can't even play fortnite normally like too much lag and even in other game too much fps lag where I feel like other [bad] laptop could run better frame. I tried putting nvidia settings to best performance even in low settings it lags any idea?It was fine before 3months now so bad lag that I can't even play a game in gtx970m Intel i7 8th gen

remove all gpu drivers with DDU uninstaller and reinstall the drivers from the MSI homepage. Don´t install any from nvidia directly.

check the ventilation of the laptop
check temperatures of CPU and GPU while gaming

check HDD/SSD
check RAM
