WiFi Direct for Toshiba L650

I have a Toshiba satellite L650 Laptop Model in which the Wifi module ATHEROS AR8152/8158 is installed by default. Since this Wifi module does not support the WIFI DIRECT feature.

I am seeking WIFI Direct support for transferring files thru WIFI without setting up a hotspot.

What should I do ?

Hi, the Atheros AR8152/8158 is your Ethernet card, I don't know the make and model of your WI-FI card.
But you could change your WI-FI card with this one : http/www.atheros.com/mobile/brand.php?brand=3&product=105
this card supports WI-FI Direct.
