I have a 42" LG smart TV. At the upper right of the screen (above the date/time) is an icon that looks like a radio tower. I assume this has something to do with WiFi, but exactly what does it mean? I searched the User Manual but couldn't find any mention of this icon.

It usually means it is connecting to a WiFi network, or that it is turned on. Smart TVs use WiFi to get Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc working
